"Impak Maksima 2" cast dined with Perlis royalty


"Once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity for director and cast to dine with Perlis royal family
8 Jul - It was an opportunity not to be missed as the promotional team of "Impak Maksima 2" received an invitation from Raja of Perlis, His Royal Highness Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail to dine with the royal family recently.

Also present during the dinner were Her Royal Highness Tuanku Tengku Fauziah Binti Almarhum Tengku Abdul Rashid, the Crown Prince of Perlis, His Royal Highness Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail; the Crown Princess of Perlis, Her Royal Highness Tuanku Dr. Hajjah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil; and the Perlis State Secretary, The Honorable Dato' Rahimi Bin Ismail.

On the "Impak Maksima 2" team were director Ahmad Idham Ahmad Nadzri and actors Arfie Shah, Nelissa Nizam, Muhsin Nadzli, and Riezman Khuzaimi, along with several crew members.

Speaking about the meeting, Idham stated that all the cast and crew expressed elation for the chance to meet with the Raja of Perlis.

"Never did they expect that they would get the opportunity to meet with the Raja of Perlis after starring in 'Impak Maksima 2'. They were able to see a different side of a royalty at such event," he said.

Idham also stated that the Raja of Perlis hinted a suggestion for them to shoot his next movie in the state.

"I have shot a lot of movies in Perlis before. But I asked him to pray for the best for the movie and that I will return to the state for my next project," he said.

The "Impak Maksima 2" team is currently on a promotional tour across Kedah and Penang, including events like Santai Anak Utara at the Darul Aman Stadium in Alor Setar, Kedah, and the Auto City Carnival in Juru, Penang.
