7 May - A man who crashes Jennifer Aniston's home (no pun intended) has now been detained by the police.

Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson, Officer Jeff Lee, stated that they responded to a call on 5 May about a "burglary suspect" who drove a car through the gates of a Bel-Air home that was revealed to belong to the "Friends" actress.

It was revealed that "the home owner was at home" at the time of the incident and that the perpetrator was apprehended by private security guards while awaiting the police.

The suspect was described as a middle-aged white man that was later identified as Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, age 48. He was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism.

The property, which is a midcentury mansion on a 3.4-acre lot, was reportedly bought by the actress for about USD 21 million in 2012.

Aniston has not made any response regarding the incident at the time of writing.
