"Jana Nayagan" will be Vijay's final film before he fully enters into politics

24 Jun - As he celebrated his 51st birthday, Vijay decided to gift fans with a new poster of his final film, "Jana Nayagan".

On 22 June, the actor shared the poster on Instagram, revealing his character in his police uniform as he walks through a burning road with a sword in hand, eyes focusing on the bad guys in front of him.

The actor only captioned the poster with the title of the movie.

The film, directed by H Vinoth, revolves around the life of an experienced police officer and his struggle in maintaining peace in a city plagued with corruption.

The film is set for release on 9 January 2026, to coincide with Pongal festival. Other co-stars include Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj, Gautham Menon, Mamitha Baiju and many others.
