11 Nov - Jeremy Renner is saying "not true" to allegations made by Chinese filmmaker Yi Zhou, after she claimed that he threatened to call US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on her after she confronted him over his alleged sexual harassment.

In a statement to the media, Renner's camp only responded that, "The allegations being made are totally inaccurate and untrue," while his attorney, Marty Singer stated that the claims were "false, outrageous and highly defamatory."

Singer stated that the two parties met in July once in Reno, Nevada, where Renner was interviewed for Yi Zhou's documentary and shared a "brief sexual encounter".

The two met again the second time in August and that Renner hasn't spoken to her in over a month and has ignored her "sexually explicit messages" where she expressed her love. The last message, he claimed, was sent on 24 October.

As for Yi Zhou's allegations that Renner threatened to call ICE on her, Singer alleges the filmmaker "had been relentlessly harassing and threatening" the actor with hundreds of unsolicited and unwanted messages.

The whole issue sparked after Zhou Yi, who claimed to have worked with the actor on the documentary, "Chronicles of Disney," released a series of posts on Instagram saying that the 54-year-old actor sent her a "string of unwanted/unsolicited pornographic images of himself."

She also claimed that Renner forced himself on her, and that she was "frauded by love".
