Jeremy Strong needs no advice from Jesse Eisenberg for "The Social Reckoning"

Jeremy Strong takes over as Mark Zuckerberg in "The Social Network" sequel

21 Oct - Taking over Jesse Eisenberg in the role of tech billionaire Mark Zuckerberg for the sequel to "The Social Network", Jeremy Strong said that he will not be approaching the role like Eisenberg did in the 2010 movie.

The actor, who spoke to the media at the Academy Museum Gala about the movie, titled "The Social Reckoning", said that he had not talked to Eisenberg about taking over the role as "it has nothing to do with what I'm going to do."

The movie, which is set to be released in October last year, will focus on a young Facebook engineer Frances Haugen (played by Mikey Madison) who teams up with Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horwitz (Jeremy Allen White) on a risky mission to bring attention to Facebook's biggest secrets.

"It's one of the great scripts I've ever read. It speaks to our time, it touches the third rail of everything happening in our world. It's a great character, fascinating, complex, and I'm approaching it with great care and empathy and objectivity," said Strong.

Strong also said that this is the third film he is doing with filmmaker Aaron Sorkin, after "The Trial of the Chicago 7" and "Molly's Game".
