4 Aug - There will be another "A Quiet Place" movie, and John Krasinski will return to the director's seat.

The news was announced by the actor-turned-filmmaker, who shared a photo of the number "III" and the release date "7.9.27", captioning it, "July 9, 2027."

It was revealed that Krasinski will be writing and directing the third Paramount film that hasn't set its cast yet.

It is noted that the first two movies starred his own wife, Emily Blunt, as well as Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe as the children. Krasinski also played a role in the first film, and made a cameo in the second instalment that was released in 2021. He also directed both movies.

Aside from "A Quiet Place" one and two, a spinoff, "A Quiet Place: Day One" was helmed by filmmaker Michael Sarnoski.
