19 May - To further fuel excitement ahead of the upcoming live-action release of "Keluang Man", premiering in cinemas nationwide on 29 May, Astro Shaw has delivered an immersive film experience through the 'Keluang Man WONDA Fun Run' - Malaysia's very first original superhero-themed run.

This landmark event marked the inaugural collaboration between Keluang Man, Wonda Coffee, and Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), held in conjunction with the Car Free Morning programme on 18 May.

Staged for the first time in Kuala Lumpur, the 5KM run flagged off from Menara DBKL and attracted over 7000 participants across all age groups. The event kicked off at 6:45 am with a warm-up session before the official flag-off at 7:00 am, officiated by Keluang Man, mascot BeBe and representatives from DBKL.

Adding to the uniqueness of the event, participants took part while wearing Keluang Man masks, with a number of lucky individuals receiving limited-edition exclusive jerseys. Adding to the excitement, the fun run featured appearances by the film's cast, including Nas Muammar Zar, Rosyam Nor, Shweta Sekhon, Anwaar Beg Moghal, Sham Sunder and Razzuan Rosli, as well as the film's theme song vocalist Krisya and local rock band S.O.G.

Participants also had the opportunity to engage in various booth activities, including meet-and-greet and photo sessions with the cast of Keluang Man and the BeBe mascot, live performances by singers Krisya and S.O.G, lucky draws, exclusive Keluang Man merchandise sales, a live broadcast by Malaysia's number one radio station, ERA, and many more exciting attractions. Participants also got to enjoy Wonda Kopi Kluang samples, the Wonda-ful Keluang Man Burger, and exclusive offers from Iconic Animation Studio, Fung Keong dan Abstrax.

As part of this larger celebration, for the first time ever, Malaysia's beloved superhero Keluang Man, adapted from the popular animated series, has leapt beyond the silver screen through a groundbreaking collaboration with Wonda Coffee, resulting in the launch of 'Wonda Kopi Kluang.' This unique beverage has achieved an impressive milestone, with more 2 million cans sold in just eight months.

Set to hit cinemas this 29 May, the final official trailer was released on Saturday 17 May, following the success of the first official trailer, which garnered nearly 10 million views on TikTok via @astroshawofficial.
