22 May - "Mechamato" continues to exudes power anywhere it goes, as it has now broken the top 10 charts on China's leading streaming platform Youku. The show, which began streaming on the platform, has been doing very well indeed, as revealed by Animonsta's co-founder Nizam Abd Razak, who shared a screenshot showing the achievement of "Mechamato" on the streaming service. "Mechamato is on fire!" he posted. "In just 72 hours, Mechamato has succeeded in breaking into the Top Chart on Youku."
He revealed that the animated show made it to number one on the Boys' Favourite Top Charts and Mecha Genre Top Charts, as well as number two on Youku Co-Produced By Top Charts and Hot Blooded Adventure Top Charts. It is also number three in the Newly Launched Show category.
Chinese audiences have expressed their enthusiasm for "Mechamato", with rave reviews on social media from parents who shared their children's love for the animation, saying that their children couldn't stop watching it once they started and even watched it repeatedly. One parent wrote, "Finally found a show my child likes and finally stopped crying." Another posted, "It's so good. I haven't seen such a good animated show before. Will definitely follow it."
