MyFrenchFilmFestival launches its biggest free online celebration of French cinema yet

18 Jan - MyFrenchFilmFestival (MyFFF 2025), the pioneering digital showcase for French-language cinema, has launched its milestone 15th edition, bringing cinema directly to audiences worldwide.

Running from 17 January to 17 February 2025, this groundbreaking initiative continues its mission to make French cinema accessible to all, especially those with limited access to movie theatres.

Unveiled on 17 January, the official film selection for MyFFF 2025 in Malaysia features a total of 16 films: 7 feature films and 9 short films.

All films will be available for viewing on Cinema Online entirely FREE-OF-CHARGE via partnership with UniFrance. [To enable Subtitles, click on the video's Settings button. ]

"No Love Lost" explores contemporary family dynamics
For 2025, MyFrenchFilmFestival brings you an eclectic selection to make you laugh, cry, and think. The programme aims to reflect the wealth and diversity of French language cinema. To help you navigate your way through this comprehensive selection and to pique your curiosity, films will be grouped by theme.

A Family Affair: A social drama, a comedy, and a genre film that question contemporary family dynamics touching on themes of love, adversity, and resilience.

The festival maintains its commitment to global accessibility as all films are available with subtitles in eight languages including Arabic, English, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese, and Spanish.

This year's festival presents an impressive lineup of carefully curated films that will compete for the prestigious Grand Prix worth €15,000, judged by an illustrious international jury including Viggo Mortensen, Zar Amir, and Noemie Merlant. The winning prize will be shared between the director, producer, and distributor of the selected film.

Film enthusiasts can also participate by voting for their favourites in the Audience Awards, which will be presented to one feature film and one short film at the end of the festival. To vote, sign in to MyFrenchFilmFestival.com, up to and including 17 February.
