Unlikely duo Nicole Scherzinger & Jennifer Coolidge team up in Rebel Wilson's directorial debut

29 Oct - Who knew that a former Pussycat Doll and Stifler's Mom will be in the same movie?

But that is what was announced recently, as Jennifer Coolidge and Nicole Scherzinger were revealed to have joined the upcoming movie, "Girl Group", to be helmed by Rebel Wilson.

Wilson, who also penned the project, plays the role of a pop diva who, after being kicked out of her own girl group's reunion tour and sentenced to community service, coaches a group of misfit teen girls for a major record label audition.

No details were released about Coolidge and Scherzinger's roles in the movie. However, the two ladies are joining the cast that include Randall Park, Sheridan Smith, Guz Khan, Spice Girls' Melanie Chisholm and All Saints' Shaznay Lewis.

Scherzinger will also be reunited with her Pussycat Doll sister, Ashley Roberts.
