13 Jan - Pamela Anderson considers her film, "The Last Showgirl" a win for her following the hurtful Hulu series, "Pam & Tommy" that was released a few years ago.

The actress, who spoke to Andy Cohen on his Sirius XM's show about the film, said that the team behind series, which had Lily James portraying her during the most painful period of her life, had never contacted her to get her approval or involvement.

"I think ethically it's illegal. But I mean, you're kind of fair game. I remember people telling me that a long time ago that you are basically public property and have no right to privacy," she said.

Asked if Hulu ever tried to reach out to her after the series aired, she responded, "No. They haven't."

Admitting that the series was painful to her as it recreated the sex tape scandal involving her and ex-husband Tommy Lee, she then said she is happy with the success of "The Last Showgirl", that had since earned her nominations at the Gotham, Golden Globe and SAG Awards.

"It's just one of those things. It happened and now I'm here and so this is the best payback ... I'm being seen and recognised for my work and not these tawdry moments," she added.
