"Papa Zola The Movie" has sparked a "truth phenomenon"
16 Dec - MONSTA's "Papa Zola The Movie" has recorded an impressive success after managing to collect more than RM 10 million in just four days.

The movie has sparked a "truth phenomenon," with audiences flooding social media with their honest reactions to its honest storytelling that closely reflects the realities of adult life, while younger viewers are captivated by its exciting action and stunning visuals.

These discussions have opened up broader conversations about the pressures of modern life, sacrifice, and the true meaning of success. It is an approach that is rarely explored in the local animation genre.

"Papa Zola The Movie" is currently showing in cinemas across Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei. The film is set to expand to the international market beginning January 2026 in Indonesia, followed by releases in India, Vietnam, and Middle Eastern markets including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Turkey in in April 2026.
