10 Dec - Still keeping mum and maintaining a dignified silence about the criticisms directed at him from Quentin Tarantino, Paul Dano seems to be continuing on with life by taking on another movie project.

It was revealed that the actor will be starring in "Bunker," alongside actors Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz, his first film after this year's "The Wizard of Kremlin."

The psychological thriller film is written and directed by Florian Zeller, who previously won an Oscar for "The Father," and explores the unravelling of a family as a mysterious construction project begins to infiltrate their lives.

"We are thrilled to welcome Paul Dano to the cast," said Zeller. "From 'Little Miss Sunshine' to 'There Will Be Blood,' Paul has consistently impressed me as an actor. He possesses an extraordinary singularity - something genuinely unique - and in that sense, he is truly irreplaceable."

Dano suddenly made headlines last week after Tarantino went on a viral rant about his performance in "There Will Be Blood" on the Bret Easton Ellis podcast. The "Pulp Fiction" director called Dano "a limp d**k" and "the worst f**king actor in SAG," claiming the actor was a "giant flaw" in the otherwise acclaimed 2007 film.

The remarks sparked immediate backlash from Hollywood, with directors Matt Reeves and Ben Stiller, actors Alec Baldwin and Toni Collette, and numerous others publicly defending Dano's talent and character on social media.

Matthew Lillard, who was also named in Tarantino's criticism alongside Owen Wilson, recently responded at a fan convention, saying "Who gives a s**t" while admitting the comments "hurt."
