Although they have yet to confirm it, sources claimed that the couple, who were stabbed, was killed by their 32-year-old son, Nick. Nick is reportedly alive and is being questioned.

The son of the noted writer, director and comedian Carl Reiner, Rob Reiner started his career as Michael "Meathead" Stivic in the 1970s sitcom, "All in the Family". Reiner later made his directorial debut with mockumentary, "This is Spinal Tap" in 1984, and went on to helm more movies including "When Harry Met Sally," "The Princess Bride," "Misery," and "Stand By Me".
