Scarlett Johansson is set to cross from Marvel to DC

4 Dec - It looks like Scarlett Johansson is joining her Marvel rival DC, as it was revealed that the actress is in final talks to be a part of "The Batman" sequel.

Sources revealed that if it comes to fruition, the sequel, which has been long-delayed following the success of its original film in 2021, will begin filming next year.

However, for now, Johansson will focus on filming "The Exorcist," which she has signed on to do last week.

"The Batman" was released in 2021

The actress previously played Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, before joining the "Jurassic World" franchise through the 2025 movie, "Rebirth".

She has also recently directed her first movie, "Eleanor the Great".

Matt Reeves is returning to helm the second instalment of "The Batman," with Robert Pattinson playing the titular superhero.
