- Simon Yam has safely arrived in Malaysia, or in Kuching, Sarawak to be exact!
The Hong Kong Best Actor landed at Kuching International Airport on 11 November, cheerfully waving and interacting with reporters and fans. He even got fans cheering joyfully by saying, "Aku sayang Kuching" ("I love Kuching").
The actor is in Kuching for the 7th ASEAN International Film Festival and Awards (AIFFA 2025) as a special award presenter.
Simon will also be greeting fans at the Amphitheater, Kuching Waterfront on 15 November, just hours before the AIFFA Gala Night.
The festival, which will run from 12 to 15 November, will be a gathering of many filmmakers and movie players from across Southeast Asia.
Other celebrities who will be attending include Dato' M. Nasir, Vince Chong, MimiFly and Tony Eusoff.
