21 Jul - Fans of the animated Spider-Verse films will have to wait a little longer for the third film, "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse", which has now delayed its release to another three weeks.

The movie, which release is already a long way to go when it announced its 4 June 2027 premiere, has now been delayed yet again to 25 June of the same year in order to cater to audiences of the summer break.

Insiders also added that the new date would be more appealing to international audiences.

The first film, "Into the Spider-Verse" made USD 393.6 million globally when it was released in 2018. The sequel, "Across the Spider-Verse" got an even bigger number at USD 690.5 million when it came out in 2023.

The third film, helmed by Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson from a script by Phil Lord, Chris Miller and David Callaham, will be the continuation to the second film, which ended on a cliffhanger.

"Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" made nearly USD 700 million at the box office
