22 Sep - Sylvester Stallone recently admitted that he had actually suggested playing Rambo again following the 2019 movie, "Last Blood", and no, not as another ageing version of his character.

Instead, he wanted to play a young Rambo, using the de-aging AI technology.

Stallone shared his said pitch in an interview on the Bingeworthy podcast, saying that everybody thought he was mad when he made the suggestion.

"AI is sophisticated enough to go through Saigon to see him at 18 years old and basically use the same image. So it isn't as big a stretch," he said.

It is noted that Noah Centineo was recently announced to be in talks to play the young John Rambo. When asked about it to Stallone, he said, "It's very, very hard. He may do a stellar job, but you're overcoming this because I went through it with 'Get Carter' (2000). Everyone loves the original, and then you're always fighting that prejudice."
