Pixar's "Gatto" is pushed to March 2027

24 Dec - Disney has recently shifted its release dates for some of the movies to be released next year and in 2027.

Ridley Scott's thriller, "The Dog Stars," which was originally slated for March 2026 has now been pushed to 28 August 2026 instead, with the original slot being taken by "Ready or Not 2: Here I Come".

The film, an adaptation of Peter Heller novel of the same name, revolves around a civilian pilot living on an abandoned airbase with his dog and an ex-Marine amid a devastating pandemic. The movie stars Jacob Elordi in the lead following the departure of Paul Mescal, who instead chose to do "The Beatles" biopic.

On the other hand, Samara Weaving returns to "Ready or Not: Here I Come," which will also star Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Elijah Wood.

On the other hand, Pixar's "Gatto" has now been pushed up from 17 June 2027 release to 5 March 2027, which marks the beginning of spring break.

The movie, to be helmed by "Luca" director Enrico Casarova, tells the story of a black cat called Nero who befriends a lonely street musician named Maya.
