30 Dec - After a smooth-sailing event that saw 85,000 fans in Malaysia gathered to celebrate the career of Thalapathy Vijay, the actor nearly got injured as soon as he came back home to India.

It was reported that his return from Malaysia became chaotic just as he arrived in Chennai, after fans flooded the airport to get a glimpse and a snap or two of the actor.

In a video that had since gone viral, Vijay, who was in Malaysia for his tribute concert and audio launch of "Jana Nayagan," had to be escorted by security while fans pushed and shoved around him, screaming his name.

At one point, the actor even lost his balance and fell just before he reached his car. Luckily, he was quickly assisted by the security team and immediately got into his car.

Those who saw the video couldn't help but expressed frustration with the way the situation was handled, with many saying that Vijay did not experience such a mob despite the huge turnout at his event while he was in Malaysia.
