18 Jun - Will Smith might be one of the biggest Hollywood actors of our time, but he is also one of the biggest Hollywood actors who kept turning down all the best roles.

After previously admitting to have turned down playing Neo in "The Matrix" for "Wild Wild West", Will recently admitted during an interview with KISS XTRA radio show that he has actually said no to Christopher Nolan's "Inception" as well

"I don't think I've ever said it publicly before, but I am going to say it now because we are opening up to one another. Chris Nolan brought me Inception first and I didn't get it," he said. "I've never said that out loud. Now that I think about it, it's those movies that go into those alternate realities they don't pitch well."

"But I am hurt by those, too. It hurts too bad to talk about," he added.

It was previously reported that Nolan actually offered the role to Brad Pitt and demanded him to give his answer in 48 hours, and when he said no, went to Will afterwards. When Will also did not accept, the role came to Leonardo DiCaprio, who then immediately grabbed it.

According to a source, Nolan decided to give these big stars a short window of time so that they wouldn't take their own sweet time before saying yes.

It is noted that Will had also turned down Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained", though it was because he didn't want to "make a slavery film about vengeance."
