"Zootopia 2" is closing in on USD 1 billion mark

9 Dec - "Zootopia 2" seems to be zooming toward becoming the highest grossing movie of 2025, as it is closing in to USD 1 billion.

The movie, which is now in its third weekend, has brought in another USD 43 million in the US, and another USD 219 million internationally. It now has reached USD 915.9 million globally.

Some of this huge taking comes from China, where it has made USD 430 million, making it the second biggest Hollywood title of all time in the country, behind "Avengers: Endgame".

On the other hand, "Five Nights at Freddy's 2," which opened last weekend, did very well in the US with USD 63 million. It has also amassed USD 46.1 million internationally for a global cume of USD 109 million.

As for "Wicked: For Good," the film has now made USD 440.1 million.

"Five Nights at Freddy's 2" is also doing well at the box office
