11 Mar - Elijah Wood seems to be hinting that he may return as Frodo Baggins in the upcoming "The Lord of the Rings" prequel movie.

The actor, who was asked regarding the film, "The Hunt for Gollum," directed by Andy Serkis, said that Ian McKellen has let the cat out of the bag before about playing Gandalf the Gray again.

"So, there is a good chance. I'm not able to officially say anything until it's announced, but I will say I'm thrilled with the prospect of another film," he said.

Wood, who played Frodo in the trilogy in the early 2000s, said that it is a little nerve-racking when people talk about new movies for a world like Middle-earth.

"Everyone gets a little protective and hopes it retains its level of integrity, but this story is fun, thrilling. There is a genuine feeling of getting the band back together. I'm just excited," he said.

When noted that McKellen has said that he wouldn't want anybody else to play Gandalf, the actor agreed, saying that he too wouldn't want anybody playing Frodo as long as he is alive and well.
