"Avengers: Endgame Encore" is the No. 1 movie in Malaysia

1 Oct - The Avengers have assembled once again and Malaysian audiences are proving their love for Earth's Mightiest Heroes is stronger than ever.

Following its first theatrical re-release on 24 September 2026, Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Endgame Encore" has grossed RM 90,116,517 (as of 30 September 2026), taking back the all-time Malaysian box office record and reaffirming the enduring appeal of the Infinity Saga.

The Malaysian box office milestone comes as "Avengers: Endgame" makes a major global comeback, opening at No. 1 worldwide with an estimated USD 86 million in its re-release opening weekend. It is now the second-highest global debut of all time for a re-release, while its cumulative worldwide box office has reached USD 2.885 billion, placing it No. 2 on the all-time global box office list.

The movie has been in theatres since 24 September

Originally released in 2019, "Avengers: Endgame" became a global box office phenomenon, opening to USD 1.2 billion worldwide in its first weekend and becoming the first film in history to surpass USD 1 billion globally in its opening weekend.

Now back on the big screen, "Avengers: Endgame Encore" gives Malaysian fans another chance to experience the epic conclusion to the Infinity Saga on the big screen, complete with exclusive bonus footage that sets the stage for Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Doomsday," the next chapter of the superhero saga.

Arriving exclusively on the big screen on 17 December 2026, "Avengers: Doomsday" will deliver a new high-stakes adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

An Infinity Vision-certified film, "Avengers: Doomsday" will give Malaysian audiences the opportunity to experience the highly anticipated release in a premium cinema format, with a larger screen, immersive sound and high-brightness laser projection designed to enhance the film's action and visuals. With 115 Infinity Vision screens across Malaysia, fans will have more opportunities to experience Avengers: Doomsday on the big screen in this premium format.

Fans can secure their seats for the Infinity Vision experience as GSC, TGV Cinemas, Mega Cineplex, FST Cinemas and 10Star launch advance ticket sales for "Avengers: Doomsday" on Thursday, 1 October, at 12PM ahead of the film's December release.

Fans who have an "Avengers: Endgame Encore" ticket and purchase an "Avengers: Doomsday" Infinity Vision ticket during the advance ticket sales period will be entitled to an exclusive poster twin set, comprising one horizontal "Avengers Endgame: Encore" poster and one exclusive D23 Avengers: Doomsday poster.

The excitement will also extend beyond the big screen with the GSC Popcorn Run 2026 featuring "Avengers: Doomsday". The ultimate movie-themed race, this year's GSC Popcorn Run will take place on 6 December 2026 at Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA Sepang. Fans can take part in a 5km Fun Run or competitive 10km and 21km categories, with exclusive race packs worth over RM400 featuring a race jersey, finisher medal, race towel, 2D movie tickets, drawstring bag and more.
