3 Mar - Don't miss the documentary film "SHENZHOU 13," recorded firsthand by the astronauts aboard China's Tiangong space station. Opening exclusively from 5 March at GSC Mid Valley, GSC Mid Valley Southkey JB, and GSC Gurney Plaza, this film offers a unique, first-person perspective on life in space.

In October 2021, China's Shenzhou-13 crewed spacecraft launched and docked with the Tiangong space station. Astronauts Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu then embarked on a six-month mission, setting a new Chinese record for the longest single crewed spaceflight - 182 days in orbit. They brought Chinese traditions to space, celebrating Lunar New Year with couplets, lanterns, blessings, and steaming dumplings, infusing the station with warmth and festivity.

The documentary captures this historic journey, allowing viewers to see Earth's breathtaking textures through a true "first-person" perspective and hear the astronauts' reflections from the stillness of space. Wang Yaping, China's second female astronaut, also made history as the first Chinese woman to conduct a spacewalk during this mission.

Approximately 90 minutes long, the film takes viewers on an immersive journey from mountains and coastlines to city lights at night, showcasing the beauty of our planet and life aboard Tiangong in stunning 8K imagery. Experience every detail and heartbeat of awe - only on the big screen, with surround sound - where the wonders of orbit and space life are truly meant to be witnessed.

Be sure to catch the film when it opens exclusively from 5 March at GSC Mid Valley, GSC Mid Valley Southkey JB and GSC Gurney Plaza.
