30 Mar - The trio is now complete, as it was revealed that John Hannah is also set to return to the world of "The Mummy".

The Scottish actor, who played the role of Jonathan Carnahan in all three "The Mummy" movies, will be reprising his role in the latest instalment of the horror-adventure.

The character Jonathan Carnahan is the older brother of Egyptologist Evelyn Carnahan, and is described as a "thief of considerable skill" with some skills of reading Egyptian.

Hannah will be reunited with Brendan Fraser, who is set to reprise his role as treasure hunter Rick O'Connell, as well as Rachel Weisz, who will finally return as Evelyn Carnahan after deciding not to reprise her role in the third film.

Plot details are under wrap for the time being, but the film is set to be released in May 2028.
