9 Jan - It looks like fans of "Tangled" are getting what they want, after it was reported that Kathryn Hahn is in talks to be a part in the live-action film.

The actress, who rose to popularity once again after playing the villainess Agatha Harkness in Marvel's "WandaVision" and "Agatha All Along," reportedly will play another villainess in the likes of Mother Gothel.

Mother Gothel, voiced by Donna Murphy in the 2010 animated feature, is the vain old woman who stole Rapunzel as a baby to harness the healing power from her magical hair. The character itself was loosely based on the original "Rapunzel" character, Dame Gothel.

The news came after Disney cast Australian actress Teagan Coft to play Rapunzel and Milo Manheim to play Flynn Rider.

Hahn was one of the actresses that fans had wanted for the role of Mother Gothel, aside from Andie MacDowell and the original voice actress Donna Murphy.
