10 Aug - Following Emma Frost and Jean Grey, it was revealed that X-Men is getting another new actor to play the mutant leader, Cyclops aka Scott Summers.

THR reported that Kit Connor, known for movies like "Heartstopper" and "Warfare," is set to play the role previously made popular by James Marsden in the upcoming film from Jake Schreier ("Thunderbolts").

Aside from Marsden, the character was also previously played by Tim Pocock as his younger version in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and by Tye Sheridan in "X-Men: Apocalypse" (2016) and "Dark Phoenix" (2019).

It is noted that Samara Weaving was previously reported to be in talks to play Emma Frost. The character was previously portrayed by January Jones and Tahyna Tozzi.

Meanwhile, Sadie Sink was revealed to have joined the MCU as Jean Grey via "Spider-Man: Brand New Day". The actress succeeded Famke Janssen who played the character in the original "X-Men" trilogy, as well as Sophie Turner, who portrayed the character in "X-Men: Apocalypse" and "Dark Phoenix".
