- Kristen Bell is set to voice Amy Rose in the fourth instalment of "Sonic the Hedgehog" live-action movie.
The news was shared by Sonic voice actor Ben Schwartz, who shared on Instagram with a photo of him and the actress, writing, "WE HAVE OUR AMY ROSE!!! And I could not be more excited!!! Please welcome the incredible @kristenanniebell to the @sonicmovie family!!!"
Described as cute and cheerful, Amy Rose is a young hedgehog and one of Sonic's closest friends in the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
Bell is no stranger to voice acting, having portrayed characters such as Anna in "Frozen" and a sloth in "Zootopia 2".
Plot details for the fourth film are under wraps. On the other hand, Metal Sonic, an intelligence robot with a dark side who will also appear in the upcoming action-adventure, has yet to get a voice actor.
