Mohanlal-Mamootty film "Patriot" gets new release date

"Patriot" to be released on 1 May

3 Apr - After previously postponing its release from April, it was revealed that the Mohanlal-Mammootty film, "Patriot" have now found a new premiere date.

The news was announced by Mammootty himself on social media, stating, "Patriot in cinemas worldwide from May 01, 2026."

He also shared that the official trailer will be released on 4 April.

It is noted that the movie was originally set for 23 April, but was postponed to give the production more time to complete the final work.

"Patriot" marks the reunion between Mammootty and Mohanlal, almost 10 years after their last collaboration. They were last seen together in "Kadal Kadannoru Maathukutty" in 2013, though Mohanlal appeared as guest star at the time.
