14 May - "Nar'sata: Sekutu Setan" could be Pierre Andre's final horror film and that fate could be determined by the public.

The 41-year-old filmmaker, who appeared at the press conference of the movie, stated that his journey as a horror director could end if the movie fails to achieve impressive box office results.

"If the audience are not interested to watch anymore, then I will stop directing this genre. However, if it does very well at the box office, then I have a few more ideas to develop it further," he said.

Pierre continued, "In short, it all depends on the reception. If the opposite were to happen, this might be my last horror film."

But it does not mean that the filmmaker will stop, only that he will return to his other genre, rom-com.

Pierre, real name Mohd. Pierre Andre Nazarul Andre, said that his biggest disappointment is that he has never made a movie that made RM10 million at the box office.

"If I were to choose between winning Best Director or a director that has achieved a great box office result, I would choose the latter. It is a different kind of satisfaction," he said.

"Nar'sata: Sekutu Setan" is set to be released on 21 May.
