22 Jun - Rajkumar Periyasamy has recently denied the notion that his new movie "OM" has anything to do with the 1995 Kannada movie of the same name.

The filmmaker recently responded to questions regarding the film, which stars Dhanush in the lead, saying that he finalised the title while writing the script.

"There is no controversy behind it. Many filmmakers today reuse titles that have been used before and this is no different," he said.

He also stated that his previous film, "Amaran" also shared the same title with a 1992 film.
