15 Jul - Ranveer Singh is set to take a paternity break from work after shooting his next film, "Pralay".

It was reported that the actor will begin filming the first schedule of the Jai Mehta directorial next month and continue on until Diwali before taking his said break to await the birth of his second child. The film's second schedule will then be resumed in 2027.

Earlier, it was reported that the movie will be shot in Australia.

"A significant schedule has been planned in Australia, and he has already begun preparing for the role. The film demands extensive physical and emotional preparation, given its scale and genre," a source said.

"Pralay" will mark Ranveer's first ever zombie thriller, and tells the story of a married couple fighting for survival in a dystopian Mumbai.

Ranveer and Deepika announced the second pregnancy back in April. The two are already parents to daughter Dua, born in 2024.
