13 Apr - "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie" is continuing its success as it surpasses "Project Hail Mary" as the current highest-grossing movie of 2026.

The Universal animated sequel remains number one at the box office, grossing USD 308 million in the US and USD 629 million globally after only 12 days in theatres.

Meanwhile, "Project Hail Mary," starring Ryan Gosling, is still holding on to second place, with the film making USD 510 million globally.
