2 Oct - Rumours are rife that Suriya will be reuniting with Mani Ratnam for a new movie.

An Indian news outlet recently reported that the filmmaker has already narrated a story to the actor a few years ago, and that he is currently reworking on the script.

However, the project reportedly is still at the discussion stage and is currently pending Suriya's approval.

It is noted that the two worked together on the 2004 movie, "Aaytha Ezhuthu," which co-stars R Madhavan and Trisha.

Despite the possibility of them working together again, it will not happen until Mani Ratnam completed the promotions for his new movie, "Inji Vellam," which stars Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi. The movie is set to be released in January next year.

Meanwhile, Suriya's latest film "Scene" will be released in November.
