The 8th edition of Malaysia International Film Festival (MIFFest) takes place from 19 to 27 July 2025 at GSC MyTOWN in Kuala Lumpur. Centered around the theme INFINITY, this year's festival honours cinema's limitless power to connect, heal, and inspire.
The festival opens with "Ninavau", a powerful Malaysian feature exploring cultural identity and emotional heritage. The closing film, "Transamazonia" is an epic international co-production spanning France, Brazil, Germany, Switzerland, and Taiwan, addressing resilience and environmental issues.
