Blue Mountains, Or Unbelievable Story (EIC)

A passive young novelist, Soso, enters the Soviet-controlled bureaucracy of Georgia to try and get his latest manuscript published. Unfortunately for him, everyone is too busy to read it and his manuscript ends up getting passed around from one person to another, neglected by the whole office. He comes to realise that the employees are so absorbed in their outside interests and private affairs that they are oblivious not only to his needs, but also to a big structural flaw in the building.

Malang baginya, orang lain terlalu sibuk untuk membacanya dan akhirnya manuskrip Soso hanya dikongsi dari seorang ke seorang, diabaikan oleh seluruh pejabat. Dia kemudian mendapati para pekerja lain terlalu taksub dengan minat dan urusan peribadi mereka sehinggakan mereka bukan hanya lupa akan keperluannya, tetapi juga tidak menyedari masalah besar bangunan itu.
