Tear This Heart Out (LAFF)

Set in 1930s Puebla, after the Mexican Revolution. 15-year-old Catalina Guzmán, who hails from a middle-class family, marries General Andres Ascensio, a prominent yet unscrupulous politician. She initially enjoys her life of luxury but as his career progresses, she finds it harder to maintain her role as a loving and loyal political wife.
Berdasarkan novel oleh Ángeles Mastretta yang sama judul, filem ini berlatarbelakangkan tahun 1930-an selepas Revolusi Mexico di Puebla. Catalina Guzmán merupakan seorang remaja berusia 15 tahun yang datang daripada keluarga kelas pertengahan. Ahli politik terkenal Jeneral Andres Ascencio telah jatuh hati dan melamarnya untuk berkahwin. Lama kelamaan, Catalina menyedari suaminya itu bukanlah seperti yang disangka dan berasa menyesal atas keputusannya mengahwini lelaki kejam itu.
