Peace (JFF Plus)

This documentary follows the lives of Soda and his in-laws in Okayama City in Okayama Prefecture. His father-in-law Kashiwagi Toshio runs a taxi service that caters to the disabled and the elderly, while his mother-in-law Hiroko Kashiwagi runs a non-profit organisation that also helps the elderly and the disabled by sending home helpers to their houses.
Berlatarkan Bandar Okayama di Wilayah Okayama, dokumentari ini mengisahkan kehidupan Soda bersama ibu bapa mertuanya, Toshio Kashiwagi, seorang pemandu teksi bagi orang-orang kurang upaya dan warga emas, dan Hiroko Kashiwagi, yang mengendalikan sebuah pertubuhan bukan berasaskan keuntungan. Setiap hari, kawasan rumah mereka didatangani kucing-kucing jalanan yang kemudiannya diberi makan oleh Toshio. Sementara itu, Hiroko pula berdepan masalah kewangan pertubuhannya setelah kerajaan memotong belanjawan.
