Pitch Perfect

Based on Mickey Rapkin`s non-fiction novel "Pitch Perfect", when Rapkin, senior editor at GQ magazine, spent a season covering competitive collegiate a cappella. He followed the groups from Tufts University, the University of Oregon and the University of Virginia, writing about the singing, groupies, partying and rivalries. In the film, Anna Kendrick stars as the female protagonist Beca, a freshman at Barden University, who is cajoled into joining The Bellas, her school`s all-girls singing group. Injecting some much needed energy into their repertoire, The Bellas decide to take on their male rivals in a campus competition.
Filem ini adalah adaptasi daripada novel Mickey Rapkin berjudul "Pitch Perfect" yang menceritakan pengalamannya ketika menjawat jawatan sebagai penyunting senior di majalah GQ dan apabila beliau membuat liputan acara pertandingan sengit 'a cappella' di peringkat kolej sebagai bahan berita terbaru. Kumpulan-kumpulan yang bertanding termasuklah pelajar Universiti Tufts, Universiti Oregon dan Universiti Virginia. Anna Kendrick memegang watak protagonis Beca, yang merupakan seorang pelajar junior di Universiti Barden dan juga ahli kumpulan terbaru The Bellas, iaitu sebuah kumpulan nyanyian yang diwakili pelajar perempuan. Dengan semangat yang ada, The Bellas cuba bersaing dengan kumpulan lain yang diwakili pelajar lelaki.
