The film follows the struggles of Joy, who is a single mother of three, as she builds her business empire after inventing the Miracle Mop and eventually becoming the President of Ingenious Designs, LLC.

• An inspiring and fascinating story that would give inspiration to many single mothers out there.

• The film has a lot of drama that will take you on an emotional journey but still has some subtle humour.

• Jennifer Lawrence does a splendid job as the title character in a truly motivational movie.

• The film moves at a good pace though there are some parts when it gets a little messy.

• Joy Mangano first developed the Miracle Mop in 1990, the same year actress Jennifer Lawrence was born.
