This Mandarin romantic drama film tells the story of three characters. Mei is a painter who falls in love with an underachieving boxer. She has an estranged brother, who is now working as a tour guide. Due to some unexpected circumstances, the siblings finally have the chance to reunite again.

The Good, the Bad and the Murmurs:

• The visual aesthetic sets up a perfect representation of the characters' melancholic and emotional lives. It portrays the heaviness of emotion perfectly.

• The movie is presented in an interesting way as it is told from different perspectives, making the story come across as disjointed but still falls into place perfectly when the reality is revealed toward the end.

• The characters are genuinely moving in their respective roles. The pacing of the movie is slow but the silence only serves to strengthen the emotions.

Trivia:

• Director Sylvia Chang and actress Isabella Leong both make a comeback through this film after a 7-year hiatus.
