On the eleventh anniversary of the September 11 attacks, a group of Islamist militants attack the American diplomatic compound and a nearby CIA Annex in Benghazi, Libya. Four Americans including US Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens are killed during the attack. A security team of six members is formed and sent to defend the remaining American survivors.

The Good, the Bad and the Courageous Decision:

• Intense and riveting, this movie is definitely not for the weak and faint-hearted as there are just so much graphic depictions of violence and terrible injuries.

• Michael Bay did an excellent job with this masterpiece that portrays a heart-breaking tragedy about the lives of the soldiers and the people trapped in the battles between the Libyan rebels.

• The film doesn't directly deal with all the political issues, but it does point out a strong message regarding politics.

Trivia:

• Toby Stephens, who portrays Glen 'Bub' Doherty in the movie, was a good friend of the real-life Jack Silva.
