Diinspirasikan daripada kisah benar mengenai semangat juang pasukan bola sepak negara untuk bangkit daripada kekecewaan, sekaligus muncul sebagai wira negara. Kehilangan Tauke yang mengundur diri gara-gara masalah kewangan menyukarkan skuad itu, namun segala rintangan dapat diatasi dengan kehadiran 'pemain no. 12', iaitu ribuan peminat yang tidak jemu-jemu menyokong skuad negara di stadium ketika berdepan lawan yang jauh lebih kuat waktu itu.
