Dangal

This biopic tells the story of Mahavir Singh Phogat, a former wrestler who has dreams of winning a gold medal for India in wrestling. He fails to do so but vows that his son would do it. When his marriage only brings him daughters, he does not give up and instead trains two of his daughters, Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat, to win the commonwealth medals despite facing societal oppression.
Ia berkisarkan tentang Mahavir Singh Phogat yang merupakan bekas juara gusti. Dia kemudian telah berkahwin dengan Shobha Kaur. Dia mempunyai impian untuk menang pingat emas untuk India dalam sukan gusti, tetapi dia tidak berjaya. Dia berjanji yang anak lelakinya akan melakukannya tetapi dia kecewa apabila isterinya melahirkan empat anak perempuan. Dia tidak percaya yang perempuan mampu bergusti dengan baik. Bagaimanapun apabila dua daripada anak perempuannya Geeta dan Babita pulang rumah selepas membelasah dua budak lelaki, dia mula sedar silapnya dan melatih kedua-dua anaknya itu dalam sukan gusti untuk menjadi ahli sukan gusti profesional.

The Good, the Bad and the Former Wrestler :

• Is it worth it that Aamir Khan gained almost 30kg for the film? Yes it is, as the film is a true masterpiece that will be remembered in years to come.

• Based on a true event, the movie is one of the best films in Bollywood history as the incredible storytelling, the stellar acting, and almost every small detail of this film is simply remarkable and enjoyable.

• Also, the message contained in this film is very meaningful and powerful, and didn't turn out to be too preachy or pretentious.

• Aamir Khan has always been one of the best Bollywood actors on par with the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, and his performance here is a level up to his already brilliant reputation.
