One night, a rundown truck drives down the road, carrying all of the illegal immigrants from Myanmar to Thailand. One of the passengers on the truck is Guo, a kind and honest young man who doesn`t think of himself as an illegal immigrant, as he has no intention of staying in Thailand. His plan is to work temporarily in Thailand to bring his earnings back for a better life back in Myanmar. Meanwhile, another passenger, Lianqing, has a different plan. She strongly believes that the life in the bustling city of Thailand will promise her a bright future. Love blossoms between Lianqing and Guo as they meet aboard the truck, but the road ahead of them is a difficult one, and they will have to endure terrible hardships if they are to have a life together.

Pada satu malam, sebuah trak membawa pendatang-pendatang haram dari Myanmar ke Thailand. Salah seorang penumpang dalam trak tersebut adalah Guo, seorang lelaki yang baik dan jujur yang tidak merasakan dirinya sebagai pendatang haram kerana dia tidak berniat untuk tinggal di Thailand. Dia merancang untuk bekerja buat sementara di Thailand untuk kumpul wang dan kembali semula ke Myanmar. Sementara itu, seorang lagi penumpang, Lianqing, pula mempunyai rancangan lain. Dia percaya Thailand menjanjikannya masa depan cerah. Cinta di antara Lianqing dan Guo mula berputik apabila mereka bertemu dalam trak tersebut, tetapi perjalanan mereka berdepan masalah kerana mereka perlu berdepan pelbagai cabaran untuk hidup bersama.
