Zhao Liang encounters a blind girl named Jing Jing who is abused by a group of gangster and manages to escape from them and gang leader Guo Wei. Zhao Liang sends her to the police station but the police cannot find her home so she lies to the police saying that Zhao Liang is her father. Having no other choice, Zhao Liang personally drives her back home but finds out that her family is poor, and her father constantly abuses her. Feeling sorry about her condition, Zhao Lian gives Jing Jing a bit of cash for her to spend and leaves. On his way home, Zhao Liang comes across Guo Wei and discovers that Jing Jing has been sold to him again. As he couldn`t leave her alone, Zhao Liang decides to go and rescue her from the gang.

Zhao Liang bertemu dengan gadis buta bernama Jing Jing yang diganggu oleh sekumpulan gangster dan berjaya melarikan diri daripada mereka dan ketua kumpulan, Guo Wei. Zhao Liang menghantarnya ke balai polis tetapi pihak polis tidak dapat mencari rumahnya, jadi dia menipu kepada polis dengan mengatakan Zhao Liang adalah bapanya. Zhao Liang yang tiada pilihan membawanya pulang tetapi mendapati keluarga gadis itu sangat miskin dan bapanya sering menderanya. Berasa kasihan dengan keadaannya, Zhao Liang memberi Jing Jing sedikit wang untuk dia guna belanja. Ketika dalam perjalanan pulang, Zhao Liang terjumpa Guo Wei dan mendapati yang Jing Jing telah dijual semula kepadanya. Berikutan itu, Zhao Liang ambil keputusan untuk menyelamatkan gadis itu daripada kumpulan tersebut.
