The quiet routine of an isolated fishing village is broken when a schoolgirl is murdered and her remains are found in an open grass, while her companion goes missing. The news turns the town of Matangtubig into the centre of media attention and is put on trial for the secrets it keeps. Amidst the media chaos, a local fisherman struggles with his conscience to admitting as witness, but telling the truth would mean changing the lives of everyone in the town, and the consequences may be worse than the perpetrated act itself.
