RuNan, the daughter of a rich tycoon from China, is being targeted by a group of human traffickers. While she is in Malaysia, her father assigns Chinese ex-military Hong Peng to be her bodyguard. The local police have also assigned a highly skilled police officer, Ah Bu, to the case. Ah Bu has given up on life when a failed mission three months ago caused the death of his team mates and his wife. However, now he will have to put his life back together as he joins Hong Peng to save RuNan after she gets kidnapped. During his investigation, he discovers the link between her kidnappers and his previous failed mission.

RuNan, anak perempuan seorang taikun kaya dari China, menjadi sasaran kumpulan penyeludup manusia. Ketika dia berada di Malaysia, bapanya telah menugaskan bekas tentera China, Hong Peng, untuk menjadi pengawal peribadinya. Pihak polis tempatan juga menugaskan pegawai hebat mereka, Ah Bu, untuk kes itu. Ah Bu telah putus asa apabila gagal dalam satu misi tiga bulan lalu yang menyebabkan kematian rakan setugas dan isterinya. Bagaimanapun, kini dia perlu mempertaruhkan nyawanya semula sebagaimana dia menyertai Hong Peng untuk menyelamatkan RuNan selepas perempuan itu diculik. Ketika penyiasatan, dia mendapati kaitan di antara penculik RuNan dan kegagalan misi terakhirnya.
