Atonement

Even though Lung lives a hard life due to having to pay off his ex-wife`s gambling debt, he dreams of taking his daughter Ying on a vacation to Thailand. His dream comes true when he finally finishes paying off the debt and is now able to take her on that vacation. Things go downhill when Ying is kidnapped while in Thailand. Desperate to find his daughter, Lung even marries a Thai woman so he can stay on in the country and search endlessly for Ying. Spending two years to gather information on the kidnappers, he is filled with hatred and now he wants revenge.
Walaupun hidup susah kerana perlu melangsaikan hutang berjudi bekas isterinya, Lung berhasrat membawa anak perempuannya Ying ke Thailand untuk bercuti. Lung tidak pernah mengeluh akan nasib kehidupannya dan akhirnya dia berjaya memberikan Ying percutian impiannya. Malangnya Ying telah diculik oleh sekumpulan penjahat semasa percutian itu. Demi menetap terus di Thailand, Lung berkahwin dengan seorang wanita Thai dan sedaya upaya mengumpul maklumat tentang penculik anaknya selama dua tahun. Apabila gagal menjumpai semula anaknya, dia mula membalas dendam terhadap penculik tersebut.
